Welcome to WeftKart! We are thrilled to have you as a vendor on our platform. Please read and understand the following policy before you start selling your products on our marketplace:

1. Account Setup and Verification

  • KYC Requirements: All vendors must complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process to verify their identity and business legitimacy. This includes providing the following documents and information:
    • Mobile number
    • Email ID
    • GST registration
    • Aadhar card
    • PAN card
    • Voter ID
    • Driving license
    • Address proof
    • Business proof
  • Office and Pickup Address: Vendors must provide their office address and pickup address during registration.
  • Approval: Once you submit the required documents, our team will review them and notify you once your account has been approved.
  • Prohibited Use of Fake Identification: Any use of fake identification or documentation is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or closure.

2. Initial Fee for Selling

  • Initial Fee: To start selling on WeftKart, you are required to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 3,000.

3. Product Listing and Management

  • Listing Services: If you do not have staff available to list your products, WeftKart can list products on your behalf on your seller ID.
  • Charges: This service is not free and will incur a monthly fee of INR 6,000.
  • Management: Our product management team will list the products you provide on your WeftKart seller ID, optimize them for SEO, and ensure they are visible on the platform to attract more orders.

4. Commissions and Fees

  • Admin Commission: WeftKart charges a 10% commission on each delivered order. After an order is delivered, you must send the admin commission to WeftKart within 7 days. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the suspension or closure of your vendor account.
  • Transaction Fees: In addition to the commission, there may be other fees such as payment processing fees that apply to each transaction. These fees will be clearly outlined in your vendor dashboard.

5. Taxes and GST Compliance

  • GST Registration: Vendors selling taxable goods or services must provide a valid GST registration number.
  • Tax Collection: As a vendor, you are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes, including GST, on your sales.
  • Tax Invoices: Ensure that each order includes a tax invoice showing the applicable tax amounts.

6. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

  • Order Processing: Vendors must process and ship orders within 24 hours of receiving the order. Tracking information must be updated promptly on the website.
  • Order Cancellation: If a customer orders a product that you do not have in stock, you must cancel the order. You are not permitted to offer the customer alternative products. Any such actions must be reported to WeftKart immediately.
  • Shipping Methods: Choose appropriate shipping methods that ensure timely and safe delivery of products.
  • Tracking Information: Provide tracking information to customers and update them on the status of their orders. Update the tracking ID on the website.

7. Payments and Settlements

  • Payment Schedule: WeftKart will process payments to vendors on a regular schedule (e.g., weekly or monthly). Payments will be made after deducting the admin commission and any other applicable fees.
  • Payment Methods: Payments will be made via the method chosen by the vendor (e.g., bank transfer).

8. Returns and Refunds

  • Return and Exchange Policy: Vendors must offer customers a 7-day return and exchange policy for products. If a product is damaged or the customer is not satisfied with the product, the vendor must allow the customer to return or exchange the item.
  • Refunds: Refunds for eligible returns must be processed promptly.

9. Account Termination

  • Violation of Policy: Failure to comply with this policy or other platform guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.
  • Notice of Termination: In the event of account termination, vendors will receive notice from WeftKart.

10. Customer Data Protection

  • Customer Data: Vendors are strictly prohibited from tampering with customer data.
  • Consent for Marketing: You may not engage in WhatsApp messaging or email marketing to customers without their explicit consent.

11. Manual Orders

  • Vendors are not permitted to take manual orders outside the WeftKart platform. All orders must be processed through the WeftKart website.

12. Coupon Policy

  • Coupon Creation: WeftKart may create coupons up to INR 200 for customers.
  • Order Eligibility: Coupons can be applied to orders of INR 2,000 or more.

13. Changes to Policy

  • WeftKart reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to vendors via email or through the vendor dashboard.
